Welcome to the first issue of our new energy newsletter, providing a "snapshot" of legal developments relevant to the energy industry in the UK. In this issue we focus on developments related to renewables: we look at the recently released consultation on a new renewable energy strategy for the UK, the European Court of Justice ruling in the Citiworks case, and the UK Government's most recent decision paper on distributed energy. Also included is a timely reminder about the European REACH legislation.
